At Foster Love, we believe that every child in foster care is on a unique journey—one that deserves to be filled with dignity, connection, and hope. While the path can be unpredictable, every stop along the way shapes their story—and with your help, it can be a story of love, support, and belonging.
Foster Love is a dynamic nonprofit organization led by passionate young adults and former foster youth. We work to ensure that children in foster care are not forgotten or left behind. Through partnerships with individuals, companies, and community allies, we provide critical resources, meaningful experiences, and educational support to youth in care.
This year, your support will help reunite siblings who have been separated by the foster care system—giving them the chance to share joyful, healing moments together through events like Disney Days. You'll also help provide Sweet Cases to replace trash bags, college and career supplies to empower independence, and other essentials that help children feel safe and seen.
No child should feel alone on their journey. Together, we can change the story for thousands of foster youth across the country.

HOW IT ALL STARTED
In 2008, Danny Mendoza discovered that his 9-year-old cousin, Roger, was living in a car. At just 20 years old and too young to become a foster parent, Danny realized there had to be another way to support children in foster care.
What began as one act of compassion quickly grew into a movement. With the help of friends and classmates, Danny launched what is now Foster Love (formerly Together We Rise)—a nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of foster youth across the country.
Driven by lived experience, innovation, and heart, Foster Love has reimagined what it means to support children in care—offering dignity, opportunity, and connection at every step of their journey.
